Meet the Smiths

Chris & Diana met in 2019 in Minnesota while working for a Catholic evangelization organization. They have been happily married since 2022. They value their faith, community, nature, simplicity, service, and hospitality. They are very involved in their Church, love hiking and exploring new parks, and greatly enjoy cooking delicious meals for friends and family. In 2026, they moved from Minnesota to Maryland to be closer to Diana’s family.

Chris has 8+ years of experience in building maintenance and construction. Most recently, he was a project manager for a general contractor in Saint Paul, MN where he coordinated residential and commercial remodels. Chris has an aptitude for working with his hands, loves researching and understanding how things work, and a passion for helping others.

Diana spent 5 years as an Elementary Teacher in a Catholic School before staying home to be a full-time homemaker. She is passionate about all things natural and local; her favorite places to be include the library, farmers markets, neighborhood parks, and thrift stores. Diana considers herself a minimalist and delights in purging, organizing, and decorating a space to make it cohesive and inviting.

Home Smith Home is truly a labor of love and a fruit of our marriage. We felt called to start this business when we moved to Maryland. We believe that God has asked us to use our gifts to help members of our community. We are committed to treating our clients like family.
